Street Fighter X Tekken: Special Edition is a crossover fighting game featuring characters from Capcom’s Street Fighter and Namco’s Tekken franchises. Players select two characters for tag-team battles, aiming to deplete the opposing team’s health in 2D fighting matches. This edition includes four gem packs (“World Warrior,” “Iron Curtain,” “Lightning Legs,” “King of Iron Fist,” 36 gems total), a prequel comic by UDON Comics, and a 5-inch build-it-yourself arcade bank. It features a single-player Story mode centered on the “Pandora” object, local and online multiplayer, a gem system for customizing abilities, and PS3-exclusive characters (Cole MacGrath, Toro, Kuro, Mega Man, Pac-Man). Developed by Capcom with Dimps, it offers vibrant visuals and fast-paced combat. Some DLC characters were controversially pre-loaded on-disc. Online servers are no longer functional as of 2025.
